The Universe fell in love with me! - The Secret Story of the Week

Yes you read the title right. That is how I feel! It feels as though the Universe is head over heels in love with me and grants me everything I want!
Although let me tell you, the start wasn’t easy…  I was a tomboy in a girls school trying to “fit in” among the girly girls in college, but failed miserably due to low self confidence. I used two stay sad, and to make it worst, the first boy I really had feelings for, never liked me more than a friend! Teenage drama! Then a family friend proposed to me, and I said yes. We were great together. He said he loved me but never gave me the commitment. After 2 years of on-off…we finally broke-up and that was it! My world fell apart. I was heartbroken, miserable and as well not happy with my looks.
During the same time period, I did not get selected in a medical college. (I aspired to be a cardiac surgeon all my life). I was offered a lower level degree and I declined it. So there I was, with not many friends, no love and no career prospects. I used to cry day in and day out. I then followed my passion and pursued a career in the creative field (I was always good at it). I took the plunge but faced a lot of criticism from family and friends since it was totally different from what I generally did. So it used to hinder my confidence most of the time but I stayed strong because I knew I was doing the right thing.
Things were getting on track career wise, I had friends too but I missed being loved by the special person. I was too stuck on my ex and lived in denial so it blocked all other chances. I used to be too negative with my thinking, “I’ll have to compromise” “I’ll never find my Mr Right” etc. Since I love to love and be loved, this love-deprivation caused me to constantly be cribbing and mulling over small small issues too. Then one fine day, my best-friend’s sister introduced us to THE SECRET. My bff said it worked for her, so I thought, lets try! (And let me tell you, I had come across The Secret book so many times earlier but never really paid heed!! shame!)
So to cut short the story… I read The Secret…followed by the film…then The Power, then The Magic… and well, the rest is history!! As expected, my life became magical!!!!! I found my deepest long lasting friends in the same people I went to the college being a tomboy! I started my own media agency which is doing incredible! I found the love of my life. He has EXACTLY all the qualities I ever wanted in my partner (and a few extra amazing points too!), and the magical part is, he was in front of me all this while, one of my friends for 6 years!! It’s the most unexpected love story, a fairytale in the true sense! ( Its another long story, will tell it some other time!)
Apart from this, from the time I have done The Magic Money day.. Not a single day has passed without money. I somehow get it when I want it.
That is why I said the Universe loves me. It has been a truly magical experience until now and I know it’s going to be even more magical!! I have spread The Secret to a lot of my friends since I am a living example of how it WORKS! Thank you Rhonda and the entire team that made this magic reach us! May the joy be with you!!

I'm a Money Magnet

WOW! It really does work! My finances were in a state, I had got into lots of debt, my landlord wanted me to pay him £800 (of which I didn't have and had no means of finding!), I had no job, no income, and no hope.

I can't say enough how much I would recommend to you all to READ THESE STORIES ON THE SECRET WEBSITE. I'm so, so grateful because it was reading these that gave me so much inspiration and positivity.

I started listening to The Secret DVD non-stop as I was working on my university work on my laptop, and it inspired me to think about what I wanted. Previously all I had thought about before was sheer panic and anxiety and you guessed it, the more I thought about it the more I got aggressive emails form my landlord demanding the money. So I started using affirmations: �Thank you, my landlord is being kind to me because I have difficult circumstances,� over and over and over, and I started acting like it was true.

Well a week later, like some kind of miracle, my landlord agreed to write all the debt off!!!! I could not believe it!!!!!

Then I read more and more stories about money and they all said, repeat, �I'm a money magnet, I'm a money magnet.� Well I assure you it works with lightning speed! I changed my screen saver to an image of ten pound notes, and every time I started panicking about money I would say, �I'm a money magnet,� over and over. Well, just over an hour later, I got a phone call - I got offered the job I had been to the day before, 16 hours a week! Already the universe was going to provide me with a £70 wage. THANK YOU!

Now, I had read about people saying when they changed their thought processes money magically appeared. I must admit I was a little skeptical because I thought, "How will I magically find money in my home?" I thought I'd give it a try, thinking it really would be a miracle.

That same afternoon, after just hearing of the job offer, I was with a friend going through a suitcase because I had just got back from a period of living abroad, and opened a little tin. I nearly stopped breathing with shock and awe when 30 euros fell out! I was amazed!!!! I had put it there six months ago and completely forgot about it! I thought, �Wow this really works, and guess what? I literally find money everywhere!"

I started saying, �I�m a money magnet,� and I look down wherever I am and find money on the street; it started off with pennies, literally about six a day, then 2pences, then 5pences, then 20pences. Yesterday I found a 50p, then a 10p, then 8p, then 12p. It�s amazing.

Now for the biggie! It was the lottery this week and I really wanted to put The Secret to the test. Normally I would buy a ticket, but because I'm on a tight budget at the moment, I decided to put out to the universe, somehow giving me that £2 for the ticket. Well I came home from university to see I had received a letter... guess what? For the first time ever, my dad had sent a lottery ticket in the post!! WOW. It was one of those breath-taking moments where I just thought, "This really works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" At that moment I thought, "It doesn�t matter if I don�t win the jackpot," because I just knew then I would someday, because out of nowhere my dad sent me a lottery ticket.

I went out last night, and found money EVERYWHERE on the street. My friends are stunned at me!

Never be put off, the universe will give you little tiny signs, even if it is one penny on the floor! There is abundance!

I�ve also realised just how rich I am by the love I have in my life. So start today! THINK RICH, be grateful, and be happy!

The big changes in my life....your Secret!! - The Secret Story of the Week

I am happy and grateful..... and this is the first time in my life that I mean it, and feel it.

My daughter was hospitalized because of a complicated pneumonia. Her situation was terrible, and she even had drains in her chest. She was one year old!!!

The whole day I was with her I just kept crying all the time seeing her like that. For a fleeting moment I remembered I had a very big exam to take that month but that thought was gone as fast as it came.

A friend of mine gave me The Secret DVD. It changed everything. I stopped crying, played beautiful music, laughed a lot with her, and also with the staff. After 3 weeks of high fever and antibiotics, they decided to operate on her. But they gave her one day to see if the fever would drop.

That day I told everybody in my family that tomorrow we will leave the hospital because she has no fever. I packed our things, and dressed her with her clothes, waiting to receive the papers to leave the hospital. The nurse thought that now I had a fever! And when she came to check my daughter's fever, she was shocked. After three weeks of high fever, she had no fever, and started to drink by herself. And they canceled the operation! The next day we left for home!!

Two weeks later I went to this big exam, and I knew I had passed already. I had prepared everything at home to celebrate. And I passed... with a wonderful result. Now, everything in my life has changed.

I am so grateful and so happy you published this book, and Rhonda I thank you every day twice... in the morning when I wake up, and when I am going to bed.

One of the very first things I started to work on consciously with my own personal development was to improve my outlook on life.
It was over 10 years ago that I started to delve into this topic and to step by step – and while sometimes tumbling backwards – build a more optimistic outlook.
An attitude that would over time become more and more stable so that I could not only look at the world in a positive way during good days. But also so I could stay positive and constructive even during tough times and keep working towards something better.
In this article I’d like to share 11 of the best, smartest and most effective habits for doing so that I have learned during over more than a decade.
I hope you will find something helpful here.
1. Find the optimistic viewpoint in a negative situation.
One of the simplest but most effective ways to build a more positive outlook has in my experience been to ask more helpful questions as often as possible.
When I am in what seems like a negative situation – maybe I have made a mistakes, I have failed or stumbled in some kind of way – then I like to ask myself questions like:
  • What is one thing that is positive or good about this situation?
  • What is one opportunity within this situation?
Doing so is a whole lot better than what I used to do in such situations. Because back then I usually asked myself how much I sucked and how things could get even worse now.
I do however not always use these questions right away. Oftentimes I need a bit of time to process the thoughts and feelings that arise in situation before I can do that. Trying to force optimistic thinking when you are still in an emotional turmoil or a bit shocked usually don’t work that well.
2. Cultivate and live in a positive environment.
Who you choose to spend your time with and the input you get from further away like the TV, the internet and magazines will have a huge effect on your outlook.
To be able to stay positive it is essential to have influences in your life that support you and lift you up instead of dragging you down.
So carefully consider what you let into your mind.
You can for example ask yourself:
  • Who are the 3 most negative people I spend time with?
  • What are the 3 of most negative sources of information I spend time on?
Consider the answers. Then think about how you can start spending less time with one of those people or information sources this week.
And how you can spend more of the time you have now freed up with one of the most positive sources or people in your life.
3. Go slowly.
I have found that when I go too fast, when I try to think, talk, eat and move around in my world really quickly then things don’t go too well.
Stress builds up. Negative thoughts about just about anything start to well up and I feel like my own personal power decreases.
But if I slow down just for a few minutes – even if I have to force it by walking, talking and eating slower – then my mind and body calms down too. It becomes easier to think things through clearly again and easier to find the optimistic and constructive perspective.
4. Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill.
It’s very easy to lose perspective, especially if you are stressed and you are going too fast.
And so a molehill can become a big and terrifying mountain in your mind.
A simple three step way to handle these situations so they don’t get out of hand is to:
  • Say stop. In your mind, shout “STOP!” or “NOPE, we are not going down that path again!” as soon as thoughts of this kind starts to spin in your head.
  • Breathe. After you have disrupted the thoughts by shouting stop sit down and just be still. Breathe with your belly and focus on just your in-breaths and out-breaths for a minute or two to calm your mind and body down.
  • Refocus. Question your mountain building thoughts by talking to someone close to you and getting a more grounded perspective on the situation by just venting or by getting his or her input. Or simply ask yourself this to widen your perspective and to chill out: Will this matter in 5 years? Or even 5 weeks?
5. Don’t let vague fears hold you back from doing what you want.
Sometimes you may want to take a chance in life. Start a new habit that feels unfamiliar, your own business on the side or ask someone out for a date.
A common trap when you want to do one of those things is to get lost in vague fears about what could happen if you actually took action.
And so the mind runs wild fueled by fear and it creates nightmare scenarios.
I know. I have been there many times.
So I have learned to ask myself this: honestly, what is the worst that could happen?
When I have figured that out I also spend a bit of time on trying to figure out what I could do if that that often pretty unlikely thing happens.
I have over the years discovered that the worst thing that could realistically happen is usually not as scary as the nightmare my fear-fueled mind could produce.
Finding clarity in this way doesn’t take much time or effort and it can help you to avoid much mind made suffering. And help you to get going, step outside of your comfort zone and take that chance.
6. Add value and positivity to someone else’s life.
What you send out you tend to get back from the world and the people in it.
Not from everyone. And not every time.
But what you send out there matters a whole lot.
What you give them and how you treat them is what you’ll get back. And they way you treat others and how you think of them also tend to have a big effect on how you treat and think about yourself.
So give value and spread the positivity by for example:
  • Helping out. Lend a hand when moving. Give a friend a ride in your car. Or if he or she needs information then help out by checking it up on Google or asking a friend of yours.
  • Just listening. Sometimes people don’t want any direct help. They just want someone to be there fully and listening as they vent for a little while.
  • Boosting the mood. Smile. Give hugs when appropriate. Play uplifting music when hanging out with a friend or suggest an inspiring movie for your movie night. Or encourage when someone has had a bad day or are going through a tough time.
7. Exercise regularly and eat and sleep well.
This is very obvious of course.
But I know the big, big impact a good night’s sleep or good workout can have when my thoughts are pessimistic and I have a lot of tensions on the inside.
And I know how much simpler it is to think clearly and optimistically when my belly is not empty.
So I highly recommend being careful about these basic habits that may sound boring. Because they do have a huge effect either way depending on how you manage them.
8. Learn to take criticism in a healthy way.
One of the most common fears is the fear of criticism. It can hold people back from doing what they want in life. Because having negativity flowing out of someone’s mouth or email and it being about you can hurt. And being rejected can sting quite a bit.
But if you want to take action on what you deep down want then criticism is pretty much unavoidable. So the key is learning to handle it in a healthier way. By doing so your fear of it will lessen and it will hurt less if you do get criticized.
I usually use four steps when I get some criticism. Maybe they can help you out too:
  • Step 1: Don’t reply right away. When you are angry, upset or riled up then is time to calm down a bit before you reply. Take at least a couple of deep breaths or a little time to process the message before you respond.
  • Step 2: Really listen to the criticism.Try to remain open and level-headed and figure out how this message can help you. Ask yourself: Is there one thing I can learn from this criticism? Is there something here that I may not want to hear but could help me?
  • Step 3: Remember that the criticism isn’t always about you. Some criticism is helpful. Some is simply attacks or someone lashing out because they are having bad day, year or job. To lessen the sting of such criticism – often really angry or overly critical in an unconstructive way – I try to be understanding. I think to myself that this person might not be feeling so good at the moment.
  • Step 4: Reply or let go. No matter the content of for example an email I try to keep my reply level-headed and kind. I may add a question or two to get more specific feedback that is helpful. And if they don’t reply or I have simply gotten a nasty attack then it is time to delete it and to let that situation go.
9. If something still gets under your skin then know what to do.
Sometimes something can still get under your skin and hurt you. Even if you use the steps above.
Two things that have helped me with that challenge are:
  • Let it out. Just letting that issue out into the light talking it over with someone close can be very helpful to see it for what it actually is. And to find a healthier perspective on the situation.
  • Improve your self-esteem. I have found over the years that with a stronger self-esteem things drag me down less and they don’t ruin my day as much anymore. Negativity from others  bounces off me much more often instead. If you want to practical help with this then have a look at my 12-week, step-by-step Self-Esteem Course.
10. Start your day in a positive way.
How you start your day usually sets the tone for the rest of your day.
So be careful about how you spend your mornings. If you get going at full speed, lost in future troubles in your mind then the stress, perceived loss of power of over your life and negative thoughts will ramp up quickly.
If you on the other hand start your day by moving slowly, by having an uplifting conversation with your family or friend or you spend some time with reading or listening to inspiring and helpful articles or podcasts over breakfast or during your bus ride to work then that can make a big difference for how your whole day will go.
11. Mindfully move through your day.
When you spend your time in the present moment then it becomes so much easier to access positive emotions and to stay practical about what you can actually do about something in your life.
When you get lost in the past or future like so many of us have spent a lot of time on doing then worries very easily become bigger. And failures and mistakes from the past being replayed over and over in your mind drag you down into pessimism.
By moving slowly through your morning and hopefully through much of the rest of your day it becomes easier to mindfully stay in the moment you are in.
Another simple way to reconnect with the moment in you are in and to put your full attention there again is to focus just on what is going on around you right now for a minute or two with all your senses. See it. Hear it. Smell it. Feel the sun, rain or cold wind on your skin.
It might sound like a small and insignificant thing to do. But this simplifying reconnection with the moment can have a very positive effect on the rest of your day.

Ask Believe Receive!

I printed out The Secret Cheque for rs 45,000.

And guess what?

That was my first cheque and I got it!!

Of course I didn't get it on the exact date that I wrote on the cheque but got it on the date that I had in mind!! The Secret works for every one of us, there's no limit to all your desires and wants.

Now I've printed a cheque for rs.1,35,000 but I need rs.50,000 now and I'm sure I'll get it by today or tomorrow. Because when I asked the universe for help, I saw a sign on a board saying "GET YOUR MONEY". I mean, I'm thrilled and excited to have the money in hand in 2 days of time. Remember the universe doesn't know the time limit or does not know whether it's a small amount or a big amount, all it knows is that it should make your wish come true. And it will!

Any words you speak have a frequency, and the moment you speak them they are released into the Universe. The law of attraction responds to all frequencies, and so it is also responding to the words that you speak. When you use very strong words, such as “terrible,” “shocking” and “horrible” to describe any situation in your life, you are sending out an equally strong frequency, and the law of attraction must respond by bringing that frequency back to you.
 
The law is impersonal, and simply matches your frequency. Do you see how important it is for you to speak strongly about what you want, and not to use strong words about what youdon’t want?

The Secret Sold My Business!!!

I have been using The Secret in various stages of my life for several years. (I KNOW that unless I am using it every day, it is not an internal knowing, but I have set the deliberate and consistent use of these disciplines as one of my new goals!) At any rate, I have owned a pizza restaurant for 15 years. I was single for most of the time and put myself through college, afforded by the freedom of owning my business. For the past several years, economics have changed in my area, not to mention that this restaurant was the original 'dream' of my ex-husband (whom I purchased the business from in the divorce).

I have been desiring to move into a joyous and lucrative phase of my life for a good long time, yet I spent many years attempting to bolster profits in this business, to no avail. I began to feel as if I was too negatively tied to this reminder of sadness in my past, and decided to sell it. I had 'attempted' to sell it before, half heartedly, and with very little belief that anyone would want to buy this headache.

I awoke one morning and decided to set a date to close or sell. I set a price that I KNEW someone would pay. I notified people I thought may be interested and began to make arrangements for any alternative, selling equipment piece by piece, or selling outright. I began to panic in that wondrous middle of the night kind of way, and rented The Secret for the fourth time. Then I got serious about The Secret.

I began by writing out all of my blessings on separate pieces of paper, one each for my children, my husband, my friends, my family, my health, and one for the blessing this business had been to me. I listed on each individual page the blessings and marvelous joy each person or thing had brought into my life, including the blessings this business had been.

I then wrote a statement about how happy I am now that my business was in loving hands, and that another was able to enjoy it, and into it, breathe the new life it deserved. I drew a picture (VERY poorly!) of the new owner exchanging a check for the exact amount of the asking price and dated the final day I had decided the business sale attempt would be, as I handed over the keys. I also downloaded a Secret check and made it out to me, and signed it "New Loving Owner of the Pizza Business."

Suffice it is to say, I received a call from the friend of a past employee who was interested. I set my terms, and did not hear back for two days - mind you, the total time I had set was 20 days from my declaration to closing, two days was a long time! He finally let me know he wanted the business at the exact terms, in the exact time. Every moment of those 20 days was a struggle to keep the outcome in mind, and I would look at my picture and Secret check whenever I felt myself struggling. When we closed the deal, I made sure to hand the keys over in exchange for the check, exactly the way it was in my picture (just fun for me! VERY fun!)

My new goals are to give hope and confidence to others by using The Secret, and to remind all that attracting abundance is a beautiful birth-right. Each and every one of us deserves to live in the freedom of enjoying easily the wonders of this earth! So, practice, practice, practice!

You Create your own life


Life is phenomenal. Incase, you don't believe it, look at all the good things you get everyday, from a bed to sleep on, to the amazing electrical appliance like A.C., fan, to the amazing food you get through the kitchen appliances to the multiple amount of goodness you get everyday.


Everyday you take decisions that impact your life either positively or negatively, depending on the kind of decision you take & how you implement it. Incase, you think negative about a decision you took, you are bound to make your life the worst example, but instead, if you think positive, your life will be an example that people will talk about.


Every decision has not just a thinking aspect but an action aspect to it as well & if your actions are phenomenal, your life will become awesome.

Before getting into my story, I want to first thank Rhonda and the beautiful book �The Secret� And also many thanks to this wonderful friend of mine, who just happened to come into my life and talk about this book. He always inspired me about every possible thing whenever I�. even remotely sounded negative.

And yes, like everyone I too have so many dreams and I just HOPED and HOPED that it would someday come TRUE. But with The Secret, now I�m NOT just hoping, but started to believe that I�m already living amidst all those dreams of mine. I watched the DVD twice already because I was feeling very low about a few things happening. Am so energized every time I see people talk and share their stories. I come here ever since I was introduced to The Secret to read all your stories�..it just inspires me more and more.
I knew some monies were coming to meâ�¦it was even more than I expected - WOW. I thank The Secret and the entire team. I know for sure all of these aspirations will come trueâ�¦.thereâ��s no doubtâ�¦Ã¢�¦ Lovely feeling ï��
